What team does everyone play?

    Just kidding--I will gladly play either one, but I prefer Aliens, really. I like the feeling of speed and stuff.

    I'm more inclined to play marines if I know there's a good/decent comm on the team, simply because it's so much harder to get good teamwork with aliens. As far as actual gameplay I prefer aliens(Skulk and Fade in particular).

    I try and play as marine in large matches, alien in the smaller ones.

    Otherwise, I just go to whatever team isn't mainly complete idiots <!--emo&:)--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/smile.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='smile.gif'><!--endemo-->

    Of course commanders never lose. They just blame it on the dumb jarheads on the ground who didn't know the entire map's situation at every point of the match so they couldn't be fully automated like the commadner expectes them to be....and them keep yelling for HA/HMG 12 seconds in...

    This thread seems almost kind of pointless, but . . . on most servers I go random due to laziness, excpet on Hera I almost never go marines. I normally go marines on servers with really good people because marines have a tendancy to win more often on servers like that, so you can get some cool games in that way (Ham's server por ejemplo). On servers like that the aliens also have a tendancy to res ****, and as much as I love goring, and as good of a gorge as I am, gorging over and over and over gets boring imo, I love being a nice surprise skulk. Then on regualar public servers I try to get some fadeing pratice in when I can, but most of the time I just end up skulking for awhile and then building my res away.

    So I guess my answer would boil down to it depends. . .

    I'll usually go in the one with the lowest number of players though if the numbers are even or it's the start of the game just watch me hit that alien portal ^~

    I loved playing with the aliens back in AvP and I love bouncing about as a fade or wall-walking as a skulk =3

    ALways random team (don't you have the 5v9 stacking on pubs as soon as OMG!!11!11!111!!!HA!!1!1111!1!! goes up over the global chat) but i like the assassin style of skulks (or even fades) so it's got to be aliens.

    Problem with aliens on pubs is that you have to build RTs cause everyone else is saving for... oh a hive? nope. Onos.
