Ok this is pretty cool stuff.
Basically you can call up your friends utilising your internet connection. "Ok, it's been done before" you may say, but this thing is 100% dedicated to phone calls and not some add-on (ICQ, MSN, etc)
I just finished having a little chit-chat with my old friend in Sweden Xerent, he's one of the official Day of Defeat mappers. Very cool indeed. Crystal clear voice just like a telephone.
I recommend you download this and spread the fun.

It's like Half-life's voice comm system, only dedicated.
and I think it's just like a normal telephone... so no conference calls -_-
So when I 'ring you up' I am essentially just using a microphone to talk to you.... I can also choose not to pick up the 'phone' my end. It uses your current internet connection and it is NOT a phone call. They just call it that.... you don't pay for the call.
It's pretty cool, gonna get my friends in on it so we can use it instead of ICQ.
Plus it's F-R-E-E.

on msmsgs you can call people's TELEPHONES. that's what i thought you meant. that costs ching-ching.
