Probably a stupid question, but anyway...
When you shoot a web at a wall, then shoot the second web along the same wall as show:

where the arrows are were the webs are.
Are webs formed between these two points, so if a marine came along

Would he be webbed?
I'm asking this because i want to know if webs can be placed along the floor so aren't noticeable yet still web marines.

A lot of gorges quite often lay them really close to the ground so the marines don't see them; only problem with this is that in the unlikely even they do get spotted they're so low it's easy to jump them.
I'm not sure about this but try it for yourself. Shoot the web, like you describe and toggle your 'light', which will light up the web, if it is there. Voila. <!--emo&:)--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/smile.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='smile.gif'><!--endemo-->
Well try what RPG mentioned but to get stickied by the web the marine would have to touch the web like I said so they'd kinda have to scrape along the wall or back against it or something ^^;

Yes the webbing travels along the wall (assuming it is a strait line) this will stick to any marines that touch the wall. works on floor and ceilings (jp) as well. <!--emo&:D--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/biggrin.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='biggrin.gif'><!--endemo-->
<b>W</b>all <b>o</b>f <b>L</b>ame
1.0x term describing a massive structure of offence chambers, usually backed up with defence chambers, primarily aimed at physicaly blocking a hallway.
Since in 2.0x offence chambers can actually hit things and the size of the chambers is decreased, this exact form is not frequently seen.
Still, a cluster of offence chambers is referred to as "WoL".
About hiding the webs on the floor:
A nice tactic I've found useful is to make use of the existing patterns on the floor to hide the webstrands.
Many of the floor textures have lightter lines running in one direction. If you place a webstrand along this line, it is hard to spot. If you then place a second strand over the same line it will overlap the first one and become very visible. So place any further strands parallel to the others, each time using the natural cover of the texture.
Switching to spit and back to web between the strands will ensure that each new strand will not be connected to the last one
Wow I did not know that at all! Amazing, how something as simple as that could be so useful. Thanks Woly.
A REAL wall of lame is in the OLD versions (No real ones exist today). A wall of lame was when there was no limit on the number of players/buildings that defense chambers could heal at once, so when there were so many defense chambers healing OC's, they wouldnt ever die. This seems the same as today, but think about when you set a siege up within range with marine FF on. Total area denial if FF is on, because the wall heals itself so fast. Everyone dies when they get near it.
Gotta head to bed, cya later.
And offence chambers still can't hit the marine if he knows what he is doing so you still need walls of them.
