Just to show off my architecture, so people will know what my style is.
I present to you the train station / initial marine spawn. (Which on the map is the furthest left point)
Major props to Deathwish for helping me out on my rail questions =D
You can't see it clearly, but that's 334 wpoly and is about as high as your going for this room.
To the left is the door to the marines command center and resource node, to the right is my untextured train of death. Of course all other textures are preliminary so they may change significantly.
I gotta do a custom texture for that white wall on the right so don't worry =p
wpoly in this pic is 294.
So I'm keeping it nice and low.
Gotta add ambient lighting, some metal scarring and a box or two, but you get the general idea <!--emo&;)--><img src="http://www.natural-selection.org/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/wink.gif" border="0" valign="absmiddle" alt=';)'><!--endemo-->
Being so bright you're loosing the benifit of env_gamma. I see you are also using point lighting, even where you have textures of light fittings. PLease use texture lighting in there, it looks so much more natural.
Another of my personnal crusades is hazard stripe textures. Please only use them wher there is a potential haxard (edge of the platfrom, edge of low ceiling, doors, hot stuff, big drops). It looks rather unlikely on those pillars.

That is all just temp lighting, I just whacked lights all over to light up the room so I could take some shots.
And I'll take your advice on the warning strips. It is a train station after all though =p
