<div class="IPBDescription">As a response to the astrowars thread</div> None of that web sillyness here! Conquest is an IRC based game. (Die hards can play via telnet on their DSL router). I have set up a conquest game on Scriptnet. Connection details are:

server: irc.scriptnet.net
channel: #conquest

Conquest is currently set to super easy mode while everyone gets a hang of it. But to get started simply /msq conquest help

The basic aim of the game is medieval RPG style warfare. I have an army, you have an army, we fight over land, teritory, gold etc. As the game goes on theres various bits of micromanagement and character development you have to deal with aswell. All in all, quality and adictive.

Offical homepage is: www.conquestgamesite.com
Theres also a refrence help doc you can print out/look at while your playing here: <a href='http://www.conquestgamesite.com/downloads/help/QuickHelpConquest.doc' target='_blank'>http://www.conquestgamesite.com/downloads/...elpConquest.doc</a>

    Heres a clickable link for the super lazy (you need <a href='http://www.mirc.co.uk' target='_blank'>mIRC</a> for this to work)

    <a href='http://irc://irc.scriptnet.net/conquest' target='_blank'>Play Conquest!</a>

    We have around 40 players now. <!--emo&:)--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/smile.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='smile.gif'><!--endemo-->

    Edit: I've reported the problems with irc:// urls to the forum admins. In the meantime you can paste 'irc://irc.scriptnet.net/conquest' into your internet explorer address bar.

    /server -m irc.scriptnet.net -j #conquest

    in your mIRC status window <!--emo&:)--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/smile.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='smile.gif'><!--endemo-->

    I would change it, but sadly the code isn't open source.

    I have emailed the author about it though.
