Comm Question - Selection Of Structures

<div class="IPBDescription">How to put structure icons in the menu</div>I have seen it sometimes when someone else has been comm and I take over. When you build an observatory in your main base, it is annoying to go back to it and select it and then go back to where you want to scan. I have seen that you can put a "link to it" on the top of the screen for easy selection, but can't find it anywhere how to do this....

    press and hold duck, press one of your weapon keys. for me, i put obs in group 5, so i would press ctrl+5. then, all i need to do is press 5 when i want to scan. if you want to veiw the obs, press 5 twice. press it again to return to your original postion

    for me obs is squad 3, 4 is arms lab, and 5 is armory.. that way i never forget... squad 1 is main base and squad 2 is hive defense.... <!--emo&:)--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/smile.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='smile.gif'><!--endemo-->
