<div class="IPBDescription">what plugins work with v. 2.0</div> I had a sweet server setup with NS 1.04. I love NS 2.0, but I'm a born tinkerer, and I'd like to know what, if any, plugins work with NS 2.0. Also if there are plugins that are now made redundant by new NS 2.0 features, feel free to list that as well.

My Win32 NS 2.0 server with AdminMod 2.50.56, MetaMod 1.16.2, and hlServer4110 uses the following plugins from 1.04, and all work GREAT <ul><li>UnStuck Pro<li>LerkLift<li>ArmoryHeal<li>ManualSiege<li>Blatt_Name<li>Dale_Consgreet<li>Plugin_Pager</ul>

Great thanks. Lerk lift is much fun, nice to hear that is still working. I guess I'll try all my favorite plugins and just see which ones work and which ones don't...

lerklift is not safe for 2.0. It was on my server all the time in 1.04, but in 2.0 it just crashes the server every few minutes.

What version of lerklift are you and kwik running then?

I'm sure kwik wouldn't say that it works if it crashes every 5 mins <img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/tounge.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='tounge.gif'>

Well, after reading the responses here (which were kind of thin actually), I just decided to try all my old plugins. It turns out that most of the plugins that worked with version 1.04, also work with 2.0. So far I have added:

Audio Tracking
Build Limit
Equip Store
Factory Limit
Jet Pack
Lerk Lift
Manual Siege
Max Class
Phase Select
Unstuck

All of them seem to be working at this point. I haven't had a chance to give them a good test with lots of players, but I will hopefully be able to do that this weekend and let you all know how it went.

edit: Well after running a test last night I ran into some problems. Because I added all the plugins at the same time basically, it is hard to know which was causing the problems. I suspect though that it was Factory Limit, or Build Limit, because I was having problems with the Marine command console. Strange things were happening such as, you click on a buildable, and the console would automatically recycle it.

Where did u get Dale_Consgreet ? Is it a metamod plugin ?

Is it a metamod plugin ?</td></tr></table><span class='postcolor'>It's an adminmod. Just do a search on Google for "dale consgreet" or "dale_consgreet". That is how I found it.

After doing some testing I have determined that I couldn't get Factory Limit working properly, it basically didn't work correctly and blocked most of my other plugins. Manual Siege didn't seem to be working properly either.

I think I'm using the most recent version of Factory Limit (version 3.0).

By the way, Manual Siege is working just fine. I didn't realize that siege cannons do collateral damage and thought the plugin was screwing up.

Ok I know that there are admin icons that appear on a server, and the icons that come from the donations, then player testers, and vets. But is there a way to add them just server side. What Im wanting to do something for those people who donate to my server, and I figured that would be the best way to show they supported. So is it possible to add in your own icons server side? I would imagine it would have to be a plugin which makes the client download the sprite before they connect. I don't know of any plugin, but it would be very good if somebody made one.

This is a combination of 2 post in another thread. But looks like it could fit here. Anyone wanna take a crack at this plugin? Any help is very greatful.

Agreed, on a Win32 server anyway. The Chamberseed plugin absolutely rockXors, but you waste a lot of res trying to get chambers stuck on walls and ceilings. When it works (I can put 3 D chambers on the ceiling ABOVE the hive for instance) I love it. Also way kool to put SpikeyMonsters horizontal on door jambs.

Looking back through these posts I didn't see anyone mention<ul><li>Onos/fadeblocker
<li>Lerkbite
</ul>Onosblocker is customizable, allowing the server op to select both a minimum number of players and a minimum number of hives required for both fades and onos.
Lerkbite is self explanatory, giving the bite back to the lerk. I set it up to have both bite and spikes in slot 1. Yes he retains ALL his other weaponry

It would be my absolutely favourite plugin if it worked well... both of the PRSearle plugins that I listed are fantastic ideas, and I would love to use them, but I can't...
