I cant play...
First off: Steam. That says a lot.
Now, whenever a new round starts, seconds before, I get the famous Crash to Desktop, complete with a 'Windows must shut this down' error message. First it freezes, then the app just dies.

You could upgrade all of those (memory shouldn't *need* to be updated, but it's always good to have)
Im having a software problem, here.
I had that problem long time ago and I reinstalled HL and NS. It fixed the crash problem. Now, about a week ago the same problem has appeared again and I think that reinstall helps here too, but I have been too lazy to do so.
If you dont wan't to reinstall (which will propably fix it), you can type retry in the console every time when a round ends.
Then it wont crash.
BTW sickboy, do you really think that will fix it? This game will run and is mented to run MUCH more weaker computer that CidHighwind has. So upgrading your computer doesnt help a ****. And all of us doesn't have enough money for a super fast kickass hardware u know.
HL crashes after round with NVOGLNT.DLL
Make sure you look at the details section of the crash to confirm what module/dll is failing. Hopefullly Valve/nVidia will have a fix soon.

Ok, I looked into your thread. So the crash is caused because of steam.
Only funny thing is that I dont use steam. I think it sucks badly (from what I have heard) and I try to stay as far from it as I can.
All Seeing Eye is so much better.
Download All Seeing Eye and uninstall Steam.
Then you can actually play again.
Oh yeah, whenever it does, the Gamma/Brightness is cranked WAY up. And since there is no apparent way to get it down, I have to restart.

Yup, that happened to me too.
Have you tryed to reinstall?
And you can reset your gamma back to normal without restarting:
Start --> Programs --> Natural Selection 2.0 --> Reset gamma
I have no problems in any other HL mod, I have to believe it is a bug in NS that only affects some people.

Yes, he can play again until valve takes the WON servers down, then your screwed.
Did you get the 2.0 steam beta patch? It seems to fix most of these problems
