Here we go...This is the potential MS unless I change the layout...So far, little detail, and some really cool lightings...the red out of the top will be brighter in the screenys to come.

    Looks really cool, but it's awfully dark for the marine spawn.  You don't wanna make it TOO inviting, but the marines should have the advantage of not having to worry about aliens hiding in the darkness.

    yea, it would b freaky to spawn into a dark room, in which u hear aliens noises all around you... seeing shadows move make you twitch, unfriendly sounds make you wish you were with your mom, and the slightest touch makes you jump... u get my point, don't u? hehe

    I agree, I say keep it dark and spooky. ^^;;

    I've always liked getting the shnizzle scarred outta me... at least in any good video game. =Þ

    it would be great if a Map could match up to clive barker's undying's scare factor... I had nightmares after playing that one. ^^;;

    next one...new lights around the columns, light comign from top increased, and a little blue coming from grate...I think this may be TOO light tho..

    I cant even see the blue light(s) the white lights are so powerfull.

    Yep too bright i prefer darker, I seems a small room i would add any small detail for improve the ship ambience.

    umm try using light_spots with a -90 pitch and 255 bright
    so ull get some cool lighting
    and, place some other lights around there, like a light hanging from a wall or somthing like that

    hmm, i would definitely go for a in between version, and use light_spots instead of texture lights.

    Here....little architecture change, and no sky...it's not the curvy one you sent me...Lol...too dang complicated and not working for me very well...plus it killed r_speeds...anyway, lighting redone, and the such.  Looking good I think.  <edit> Just noticed I forgot the light below the grate...humph....Whatever, Next build<edit>

    For your walls I suggest curving them up a bit.

    Use your imagination, I personally hate perfectly straight walls (Save larger rooms where some sacrifices must be made for the r_speeds)

    The room to the left of it is the CC room, so some of the spawns will be conviently placed there.

    try doing strange angles with the wall. For the light, id recomment you use spot lights facing up, at 35º +/- from the vertical columns. That'll give it a best look i think, or just use spot lights facing down half the colum half the floor. Remember. NS & spotlights are gonna get married!!

    I like the room.  What room is it supposed to be in the "story" of the map?  For example, if it's an airlock area, put a little reception desk in there because it'd be logical to have reception where people enter.

    It's more of a recreational area, a break room of sorts, for the security, who is in the next room.  I'll have some chairs lining the wall and possibly a few posters if all goes well.
