i'm gonna see it no matter the verdict, solely because mr. walken is in it. but if you've seen it, gimme a rating, please.

    looks phony and it seems its going to be a stephan segal movie where the rock gets stabbed, beat up by 10 guys with knives and guns and then fights some evil ape gets hit by a bunch of rocks hits a tree gets attacked by little tribal asain men and comes out of all of that with a small cut on his cheek and some dirt on his shirt

    I heard that its was pretty good. Not the matrix or monty python or anything, but entertaining. Not to mention that it has god himself (Christopher Walken) in it.

    I saw it last night. The GF and I were out and about and decided to pop in and see what was playing.

    On a 1-10 I give it a 6 or 7 maybe. It wasn't bad. But my expectations weren't that high. It was a fun movie though. A few good laughs (if you don't try to take it too serious) but the fight scenes = teh roxors!!!111oneoneone

    No spoilers here (you can catch this scene in the TV trailer): The Rock gets into a match with a handfull of Brazillian "rebels". It's the kill. It gets a bit like "Pro Wrestling" (which I have no interest in) but I was lovin it. If nothing else, it's a definate "what to do on a Friday night let's rent a movie" movie.

    Oh and Chris Walken is classic. Watch out for the ToothFairy! <!--emo&:D--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/biggrin.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='biggrin.gif'><!--endemo-->

    It looks cheesy, like when the rock has two whips and hes falling backward and hits two guys with the whips. I mean, cmon make it a little more realistic.

    The one movie to see this year= The Return of the King

    I just saw it tonight and thought it was a great flick.

    Don't go in expecting to see an award winner, but it was funny, had cool fight scenes, and Christopher Walken.

    Yes yes yes, go see it. I was surprised at how good the directing was, there were quite a few nice touches. When I saw the previews I was like "Oh man, that one's gonna suck" but now I want to buy it on DVD.
