Bottom line if I see a game is about to be dragged out for 40 minutes I'm going to F4, if I can't F4 I'm going to quit and join a different server, I have better things to do than sit in a hive or marine start for 40 minutes, like taking a staple gun to my nutsack and it would actually be less painful and more productive.

4 games in the last 2 days that I have played have ended up with 8 man teams and not being able to end the game as aliens. 3 onos, 1 gorge, 2 lerk, a fade, and the guy who just died..... vs 8 HA, all with welders, 2-3 GLs, the rest shotties or HMGs, 3 TFs, 10-15 turrets.... 40 minute stalemates until admins changed maps or one team gave up and tried a rush. Those are legit and valid F4 times. If the marine team has it in the bag or the alien team has it in the bag and they're taunting you by spawn/ip camping, F4, I'll join you. If you F4 when they're mopping up your hive, I see it as bad sportsmanship. Give them the minute or so they need to finish you off. It's hella fun yo kill the last hive, or the last IP, as long as your trying and not being a punk about it. I would never want to take that away from anyone else.

lol. Thats funny, the only time I hit f4 is post-game, when I magically transform into Larry the Magical Teleporting Onos, at which point I yell "Who wants OH NO'S rides?". Then people proceed to chase me, and I bet if they could they would try to beat me as well. Thank god for nonviolent ready rooms, if they had crowbars, bye bye larry.
