Removed the mess in the middle and repositioned the aiming lines, also made it red.

<a href='http://www3.sympatico.ca/lerhone/menix/xhairmg.spr' target='_blank'>Download</a>

Just stick it into the NS/SPRITES/ folder

    Very nice, think you could recolor every piece of marine hud red to match this? Only if you have the time. *Downloads next year (Currently is grounded for whole year)*

    Wouldn't red crosshairs be kind of difficult to see in all those red vents?

    The aiming lines are gradients and not a single color, so they can be seen in any condition. If you find a place where the crosshair is difficult to make out then just post an SS in this thread and i can redesign the structure of it.

    A good rule of thumb is: if you don't lose track of either the target or the crosshair in a combat situation, the crosshair works fine. The original one sometimes caused me to lose track of the enemy due to the crosshair's size (stood out too much).

    I'm not grounded from downloading anything, I'm grounded from my computer. They just dont know that I'm on right now.

    Plus, I talked to them, I might have my comp back sooner than I thought. I'm doing pretty bad in school I'm "gifted," but I'm screwing up in homework. I'm nailing 100's on tests and the homeworks are weighing them down to F's. I have more than 100% in math though, like 110%, the only classes i'm screwing up in are Social Studies and Science. Just the homework.

    good job, its a very nice crosshair.

    But its hard to see the enemy with the Red color, which defeats the purpose of having the crosshair in the first place <!--emo&???--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/confused.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='confused.gif'><!--endemo-->

    i suggest making a blue version

    This one has a transparent red circle around the crosshair, making it more visible. Rename to xhairmg.spr

    <img src='http://www3.sympatico.ca/lerhone/menix/solidexample.jpg' border='0' alt='user posted image'>

    <a href='http://www3.sympatico.ca/lerhone/menix/xhairmg2.spr' target='_blank'>Solid Circle</a>

    If you want a blue/yellow/white/pink version just recompile the crosshair with desired color.

    I'm with the "make it blue" crowd. Otherwise, very sexy.

    The blue is dark, I know.
    They're relatively darker anyways, since I ran ResetGamma.
