Error When Loading Thru Steam

when i load ns thru steam i get an error message that says "cannaot load library from c:\......\ns\cl_dlls\client.dll. Does anyone know why this is happening? I checked that folder and I didnt see a client.dll and there wasnt one in my old ns folder either. <img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/sad.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='sad.gif'>

that usually means that half-life (or ns) isn't updated. make sure you have the most current patches.

I have hl, cs, and dod updated. I just downloaded ns 2.0 which i believe is the current version.
