I've noticed on IRC that a lot of people have never heard of the word <a href='http://www.dictionary.com/search?q=whinge' target='_blank'>"Whinge"</a>.

Is this really true? Have you yanks never heard of it? It's in common use here.

    Only reason I know about it is because you use it constantly, you limey <!--emo&:D--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/biggrin.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='biggrin.gif'><!--endemo-->. But yeah, just use whine and not so many people will go 'WTH.'

    Which reminds me. The other night, we had a very confused American on the server (the server's in Perth, Western Australia, as are most of its regulars). Anyway, half way through the game he asks "Is this a Brittish server? Cause everyone sounds Brittish". A few expressions of mirth. I couldn't work out what he was talking about, because most of the people on voicecom had quite strong Aussie accents (definately not Brittish). Then he says it's because we keep saying "bloody"...

    And btw, 'dumb' is the 'inability to speak', not stupidity. I know what you mean though.

    Isn't having to explain what "oi" means kinda like having to explain what "Yo biznatch" means?

    I mean all you have to do is listen to it in context

    "Oi, pally" or "Oi, nubcaek" I guess yo is just more understandable in some ways.

    although "Yo, comznit weeze gots to get that shiznit near viadizzle on the straight up locks down yaheer?"

    but when it comes to voice com nothing bets 1 word sentances "heycommweneedtosendmorepeopletommmcomnsfpdcoredropshottyplz"
