    2) As soon as you get attacked, or even before that as you hear aliens, STOP HUMPING, you need to be able to react at an attack.

    3) when you get shot with a spore cloud, DON'T STAY IN IT, Move out of that cloud as much as possible... Killed someguy because I shot him a spore cloud, and just moved around, he tried to kill me but didn't move... <!--QuoteEnd--> </td></tr></table><span class='postcolor'> <!--QuoteEEnd-->
There's a really easy solution for this. In this forum someone made a joke a showed a picture of a armory surrounded by ip's so armory humpers get telefragged if they hump it a way too long.

Last night i was comming and tried it out by placing the armory in a corner and placed two ip's around the armory. Two Rines got telefragged just after the ip's got build up. Afterwards no telefrag happend anymore as no Rine started to hump the armory. We won that game.

    uh.... *looks around*

i must be really really strange... cuz i'm one of the few people who load up fully or near fully on ammo and usually live long enought to run out... and then thing is.. so many people ask for ammo when they still have more.
the result: even when you have 0/0 on your lmg and 0/0 on your pistol and are taking out skulks with a knife... you commanders STILL wont drop some ammo...

I will second that motion . . .It's the same reason I tell every one to not give me another HMG if I die holding one. . .<_<

See getting full ammo is ok if you are like . . .holding an HMG or a GL . . .But you have a point. . . *normally doesn't go for the armory in the event of an attack* But I do sometimes try to get full ammo . . .Why I do ? Cos I hate yelling for ammo <_<' . . . I mean I know how it feels to be comm to like . . .7 peopl and hear them yelling . . ."We need this and that!" "And this!" and then someone yells " I need ammo T_T" and thinks I'm going to stop doing important build orders or planing an attack to give him ammo -_-' yep thats just my wonderful rant XD.

I normally leave the base with either 150 or 200 total LMG ammo, and I don't normally grab any extra pistol ammo, as 20 is normally just right for how often I use it.

Similarly if I get get given a shotgun I usually discharge all my pistol ammo then throw it away as chances are I wont be pulling it out once (yes I realise this weakens me at longer ranges, but since I'm a team player and normally run out with several LMGers I simply let them handle the long range stuff). I prefer to be using a JP when shotgunning, as HA are really to slow to be all THAT effective with it.

I hate having HMGs or Grenade Launchers unless I also have HA and welders. They slow you down too much, and therefore make you nice big easy expensive targets for the aliens. You can almost guaruntee that the HMG light armoured marine will be the first to die when surrounded by LMGers... And I wouldnt recommend them for JPers either since they are so heavy...

I always grab 50 extra rounds for my LMG (so I leave with 50\100 and 10\10) This leaves me enough ammo to take out 3-5 skulks, which is about all I'm likely to manage anyway before I die. I figure, if I live any longer than that, at least I'll get some good knife practice before they eat me. <!--emo&:)--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/smile.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='smile.gif'><!--endemo-->
