I was checking out this website with abandoned sites and such and i found one that sort of catered to this mod's taste.. check out the last part of this movie and tell me that doesn't remind you of Natural-Selection.

it's a Quicktime movie

This is actually a *very* cool, very atmospheric little movie... it reminds me of a cross between NS, Reign of Fire's sewers, and Resident Evil 3. I recommend people go check it out.

That is really awesome, what is that place exactly? You should watch the church one too, that video alone is enough to give me nightmares, could you imagine walking through that place alone?

The site labled that movie "Boulogne Main Sewer"

The technical art gives some nice still high-res inspiration.

And yeah, walk through that church at night? even day, no thanks. Creepy... now if you could transform that architecture to a futuristic tileset? Hell I'd play it.

Anyway, there's some other sites like that which i checked out. Very creepy old abandoned industrial graveyards. After a long visit through the whole site I was feeling very creative. Check that one out at this link.

Heheh creepeh... I love it. As for Abandoned Places, I've been going there for some time, picking up tidbits of inspiration. For some reason, I just love anything derelict.

It's the "are you sure we're supposed to be in here?" feeling, mixed with a little fear-of-the-unknown, with a dash of restless-spirit and sense-of-adventure. (:

There is no way you would get me to go down that elevator in that place I would be freaking out thinking it would fall or something.
