Whens The Next Version?

I keep seeing fix after fix but no one on the NS dev team is fixing one of the biggest problems. Res gain. I just got out of another game, it was 5 on 5 and around the 5 minute mark two aliens quit. 2 minuets later they had 2 onos and we were dead.

With such small numbers on alien they have so much res comming in they can get their biggest and best upgrades before marines have a chance. This needs to be fixed. Im not gonna bother explaining how to fix it again.

    Fixing takes time.
    Balancing takes even more time.
    Testing takes time.
    Making NS steam compatible takes time.
    And all that time is full of hard work!

    The beta patches fix and balance quite a lot of things.
    We all know that there are flaws, so does the dev team.

    If you want to read my constructive critism then use the search feature, ive only posted it about 5 times in 5 different threads.

    As for balancing, it doesn't take any balancing. It should be a simple fix.

    While I don't have direct source code from Flayra, let me be the first to say, never assume anything is a "simple fix" and doesn't "change balance". Especially adjusting the core res system for 1 of 2 teams in an RTS.

    If Flayra feels it needs update, it probably will be. But keep in mind, 5 on 3 means that the game wasn't fair at all for either team. Aliens were out numbered. Marines were outressed (per alien recieving more).

    ETH, if you search and read my fix it doesn't change the res system for any game but a small.

    The basic of it is to make the res gain for a 3 on 3 player game equal the res gain of a 6 on 6, in regards to alien. Right now less aliens means more res for everyone, which is bad. The game is balanced for 6-8 per team but servers don't always contain 6-8 per team.

    Sorry Tiax, I was unaware you had posted an idea for the fix (probably in suggestions and ideas forum and there's a lot of the type going around).
    When you said "I'm not going to bother explaining it again", I was assuming that you just weren't going into detail. I'll hunt down your other posts.

    2.0 coming out with constant fixes and already people are wanting another 'superfantastic' version? Have some patience please, we didn't wait 4 months for 2.0 just to play it for one
