<div class="IPBDescription">I hope this will help.</div> I'm new to the board but not to NS. And I know there is no thing worse then a flame war to make some one new quit.

To all you Newbie haters out there. New players are in fact a good thing for a community, thats how they grow into something great. Yes I know sometimes new players can be a little annoying, but soon those same people will be just as good as you , or even end up changing the community for the better. Plus there is nothing better then to help someone and they end up looking up to you or even saving your butt. So remember that next time you deside to not treat someone with respect. This is all about having fun, ne?

To all newcomers, Just treat the older players with the same respect that is due to you and listen to people trying to help, play as an alien a little to if you want to be a good comm and just keep trying. and don't bark out orders when your a comm, like me <_< And DON'T EVER EVER rush the enemy alone. . .it's bad for your already short life span. XD Infact stay with your group and cover them. You make great friends that way too.

Just remember the Marines are human and humans need to work to togerher. I mean the aliens seem to have more team work then the humans sometimes. . .

And if this all didn't make since o_o just delete it . . .

    As he said, newcomers to this mod are extremely important to its growth. NS is a fantastic mod, the best I've seen. I've been playing since 1.04 and I know what it was like to be a newbie. NS is very intimidating when you enter it for the first time. This is not some shoot-em-up game like Counter-Strike. This is a team-based mod, and that's exactly how you should act, like a team. If you're tired of all the "n00bies" overrunning the game, why don't you lend a hand and teach them so they can learn and in turn, teach more "n00bies." We were all n00bies once. There's no need to bash on them.

    When i first started, it was back in 1.04 but i learned quickly thanks to the guys at my fave server.     I've only been playing for a few weeks, but thanks to my friend Dissolved and the server he is an admin of (pb&j's), I am absolutely loving the game.
    I tried to get into NS twice before and failed, it really takes some good helpful vet's to get a noobie into the mood to enjoy the game.

    Remember not to get too mad when they do something like building an OC near a siege turret either; after all nobody tells you these things until it's too late. It's just a game at the end of the day and there's no point in screaming at people and making them feel bad just because they don't have the experience to know little problems like that <!--emo&:)--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/smile.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='smile.gif'><!--endemo-->

    Happened in a game I was playing; by the end of it I was the only alien not shouting abuse at the poor guy -.-
