If it weren't for my short attention span, I'd me a T2 god as well, unfortunately, Ive moved on to other things.
I can stil own with a disc launcher though <!--emo&:)--><img src="http://www.natural-selection.org/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/smile.gif" border="0" valign="absmiddle" alt=':)'><!--endemo--> Never lost that!
So in the end even if your good at tribes2 you might require to learn NS befor you can do some serious pimpage...
I never claimed I was going to be good at NS, nor did Freemantle. Either you misread BOTH of our posts, or your just trying to sound cool, but either way, your wrong.
Sorry for coming on so hard-assed.
But it has it's own problems being that you need to be committed player and be in clan to see the full extent of this game, playing on pub servers well can just plain suck
my previous post was not to knock how well you play, I have no idea of your ablities. I just want to help open your eyes before your sucking on the end of lvl5's hoof, foot, stump but i could be wrong you could be a ns god
Bind Disc Launcher to Mouse 3
Use Elf with all Light Armours
Use Commander Hud and Some of PJ's scripts
<b>NEVER</b> forget about your repair kit. Never forget to pick up your foes repair kit and disc ammo
Missles are slow
Whiteout grenades suck
Shocklance isn't that cool
Follow these tips and I garuntee you wont look like a total newb.

No Heavy can dodge a thrown White out, when it lands, simply fly up and turn around to avoid being blinded, and while the heavy is lookin around with a white screen, waltz up behind him and ZOT! One easy heavy kill. ^^;; as for lights, I can hit 'em mid-air with the shocklance, while dodging their feeble disc (Also very skilled with those) launchers.
Every weapon/Item/pack is good, it all depends on how well you use it. =P
Then I just stopped playing all together.
Don't believe me? Just install a second copy somewhere and dont patch it. Go into Raindance and just look at the differences.
People with VooDoo's got upset they couldn't run the game at max detail at 1280x1024 ...

Anywho, people have made the classic maps so you can replay the old maps with the latest patch.
(btw i gotta find my T2 CD and reinstall it, i love that game...)

[edit] i also love doing flips with a shrike, it helps when theres another on my tail, someimes, if their smart though, they'll do the exact same thing, also, if you drive off the edge of a high mountain into a deep pool of water with a hoverbike, it goes shooting way the hell up there, i remember 1 time i went so high my bike exploded on impact[/edit]
