How To Get Ns Working With Steam.

Its a bit long winded but this is what you do.

Install or copy ur old ns folder into c:\program files\steam\steamapps\your@emailaddress.com\half-life\

long folder i know. I hope they cut it down. If the folders dont exist just make them.

Open your games, it will be under third party games.

Right click, Launch game.

It will say its launching Half-life but its not. Its NS.

Rebiind your keys. Because for me they were not bound and it proves that its NS because it has like shortcut build offensive chamber etc.

To join a game click on the Find Server, and it lists all the NS servers. You cannot join with servers on the main window, as it tries to launch CS.

    That's what I did, except the server-browser only shows HLDM serveres, I can't change the filter, and launching from ASE or HLSW just goes to the title screen.

    well it works fine for me. Have you tried clearing the filters in normal servers window. and also i forgot to mention
