  yeah you can close steam, and retry, its because there is too much network traffic thats what makes it crash.

  And it started d/l fine, then PAUSED AGAIN at 5min left

  Actually... if you imported any of your HL stuff then it automatically grabbed your CD key.

  Thanks shocorz, I appreciate it - as I said in my other post - I have been "Sharing the love" that is hl with a lot of my friends, and I dont want them to beat me to the cdkey ownership with steam.
