(so funny and fun )
more points for Nadesco (martian succeser nadescio) is the nadesco move, so very fun!!! (martian ju jitsu!!)
Some more: Hack Sign (it actualy is rather fun, basicaly it all centers around an mmorpg, the twist starts in the first ep where one of the main chars can't log off ) FullMetalPanik (watching curently, like 1/2 way through realy fun!) BGC and Vampire Hunter D. Vampire Hunter D is excellent. End of Evangelion is... well, let's just say that "opinions differ on the matter". You don't really need to buy this movie so much as see it once or twice from someone who does have it. Vampire Hunter D, on the other hand, is a good move in its own right.
Thing about Vampire Hunter D is that it is pretty common. I could buy it one day from a local store... If I buy something it is most likely to be the two series or the four films.
I didn't actually like Vampire hunter D... but I LOVED Vampire Hunter D: Bloodlust shame I can't find it on DVD in the uk anywhere
If you want a cheap (£56 inc P&P) Neon Genesis Evangelion Boxset (from the UK) go for http://www2.cd-wow.com. This is the Australian version (Region 2 though.)
Also, if you want a cheap (£46 inc P&P Trigun boxset go for http://www.yesasia.com. This is the Asian (Region 3 version), but it is exactly the same as the US version. I own it and it is absolutely perfect.
regions are never problem. After all... what self-respecting anime fan doesn't have a multi-regional DVD player? ^~ I'll have to go hunting for shaolin soccer too; it's not anime but wow it's good

Watch Kite....just for the hell of it lol But really my only reason for posting is to say AVOID EVA LIKE THE PLAGUE. God I hated the entire series AND the movie. That main kid just reacted so completely unreal to situations it wasn't funny and ruined everything. Trigun is good though ^_^ As is Outlaw Star, Cowboy Bebop, and strangely Love Hina wasn't bad

I'd much rather discuss a series than post suggestions or whether or not a series is good with no justification or just recommending a whole bunch of series....
Yes, I am an elitist ****. All the series you are posting I have seen a very long time ago... so I just get tired of posting in the nth thread on the topic....
OMG!!! nobody mentioned FLCL o.O how the heck could anyone forget that? lol
I love it just because it's so ridiculously strange and I love the part where it turns into a manga comic for a couple of seconds
hmm, i have all 123 episodes of inuyasha on my computer and i have both movies subbed, im working on getting all the ranma 1/2 episodes *sweet show*, and alot of other stuff... just soo much stuff.
its... ... Well, let's jsut say me and my friends agreed that it should have ended after they rescure him from the dungeon...
past that... it just seems tacked on...
We thought it was alright up until it got to the ending... the one guy seemed more a ledgend that just happened to be true, rather than a hint of things to come... I mean spending the whole series without a hint of magic and then ending it that way... just... and the cut off point BLEW FREAKING BIG ONES...
Decent series, the ending sucks the big one... Best point is when the Blue whales leader gets his...
I've tried hard not to spoil it... as much as I want to prevent the waste of 6 hours it is...
That was really my only reason for posting here... the rest of the originally suggested series are pretty good, and don't pull any major 180s and outright BS that Berserk does...
man four pages and no one has yet to mention Serial Experiments Lain? I love this series with a passion! also Record of the Lodoss war is worth a watch.

My friend's are not anime guys. I show them the first Three episodes of Hellsing. Now they wanna see the rest.
Rent it on DVD if you can and find out if you like it, because you don't wanna buy something you might hate.
