    same way you make squads in any other half-decent strategy game.. ctrl+#

    (NOTE: assuming your "crouch" key is ctrl, otherwise, use your crouchkey+#)

    Also if you've rebound weapon select keys, use the rebound versions of those instead of the number keys *took me a while to figure that one lol*

    so : crouch+weaponkey 1-5

    You have to hold down your "Crouch/Duck" key and push 1,2,3,4, or 5 and you'll have your squad according to the number you pushed when holding down your "Crouch/Duck" key.

    Well, the way I see it, squads is an exellent new function, but... I't would have been better if the marines in the squad and not just the commander could see who they were 'bound to'. Almost every time (not many) I've been bound to a squad the whole squad got seperated (by some getting killed or confusion) and never got back together again...

    Your squad is colored in green on the map - as a marine, you always see who you are with in a squad.

    Not stupid - I myself did not bother to look much at the map in the beginning. It's only later you see these things easily - or you ask here.
