Mostly looking for feedback and suggestions from more experienced modelers out there...
Built in MS3d, rendered in MaxR3, about 1190 polys at this point... Material shades right now are just for definition.

Suggestion: Delete the backfaces to lower the poly count, and keep up the good work <!--emo&:D--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/biggrin.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='biggrin.gif'><!--endemo-->, this looks like it'll be a clear competitior for the top LMG spot (the design doesn't look chunky enough to be a HMG).

interresting... on the first look it looked like a mix of the g36 and the south african vector 21, the unreal 2003 mg and uhm... nike shoes...

EDIT: on the bar that leads down to the smooth thing to barrel of the gun (kinda like the sighting) u should add a laser pointer (not a laser point tho ) in ur skinning (kinda like the original turrent files and the red little computerized dot thingy) so it looks like it calculates alittle bit even tho u cant see it v_mdl ull be able to see it p_ and w_
The only NS models I've done have been hacks done for my son and I to use ourselves, I closed the visors on the Halo (my light) and Starcraft (my heavy) marines, and made them transparent, recompiled the Halo to use the smartgun, and converted a CS pulse rifle model to NS, I thought it was more detailed than the AVP2 one used previously. And for * <!--emo&;)--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/wink.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='wink.gif'><!--endemo--> * and giggles, I made a lightsaber knife replacement- but it's kinda crappy- the additive rendering isn't truly fullbright, so it looks bad in darkness. If there was a way to add the glow effect, maybe, but I'll probably be canning that one. My NS custom theme, you ask? I do see a resemblance to the Marathon weapon, in the "molded" look I was seeking, and with my decision to go for a FN-2000 style stock, perhaps a bit more... I was even going for a color scheme similar to that... The differences are mostly in detail... <img src='http://advancedmod.com/forums/images/smiles/frusty.gif' border='0' alt='user posted image'> Oh well, I'm not going to can it for that... just have to think of something...

I hope this comes out as a HMG cause i cant seen to find a decent one :/
This would fit in just great.... Hope you get it done soon.
Also why the 2 clips. Is i supost to be a HMG/Gl or somthing?
