    It leads me to ask, how about a new Marine class, the Janitor. He could have a floor buffer in place of LMG and the pistol could be replaced with a spray bottle of Windex.

    How about, instead of the slug, the hive can be thrown? The hive could go quite far, but gets damaged each time it impacts.

    Perhaps some sort of Scottish shot putter?

    Carioca, nothing wrong with a little brain storming. In fact, this idea is very different than most ideas posted. Please don't stop thinking up ideas (despite what other people say). However, the practicality of this suggestion isn't realistic for NS.

    Keep on thinking up ideas Carioca. While most people would tease you to submission over an idea they wish they could have thought of, I praise imagination and creativity. Don't let the flamers slow you down.

    As a website designer, part of my job is to criticise designs as well as being creative. To be honest, you need BOTH skills, and thank you, i have them.

    Let's stick to the original Slug idea and think of ways to improve it. Example : Make it that the slug moves 1/2 times as slow as Marine and it can consume a structure by moving to a structure and using the attack. Structures are digested at a rate of 25 armor per sec. Another attack would be XenoCide MK ll , the hive explodes, causing everything except aliens in a radius of 750 m to be wiped out , including structures.
