It was made in 1992, and am I the only one who thinks that the game gear is actually better than the Game Boy Advance, even now!!?

    I mean the Game Boy has only just come out with a game boy with a back lit screen. Ok the graphics may be 32-bit. But in 1992 this game-gear had full colour LCD screen with backlight, it has 16 bit graphics and stereo sound, it was pure kewlness. To top it off I've still got my TV Tuner. You could watch TV on ur game gear ffs!!!!! Game Boy Advance can't even do that now!!

    I was gonna buy a GBA, but screw it, i'm gonna stick with Mortal Kombat 2, Sonic and Ecco the Dolphin thanku! <!--QuoteEnd--></td></tr></table><span class='postcolor'><!--QuoteEEnd-->
    Wow, i thought i was the only one who played Sega Game Gear still!!

    Echo the dolphin was alright....BUT X-MEN WAS TEH PWNZ0R!~!!@! I have 7 game gear games.... <!--emo&:)--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/smile.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='smile.gif'><!--endemo--> <!--QuoteEnd--> </td></tr></table><span class='postcolor'> <!--QuoteEEnd-->
    These are the games i had, i had no money, so my parents bought my games for me <!--emo&:D--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/biggrin.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='biggrin.gif'><!--endemo-->

    Mortal Kombat 2
    Ecco the Dolphin
    Dracula
    Olympic Gold
    That 4-in-1 game, which was quite kewl
    Taz-Mania

    and more, but i forget them now

    and of course i had my TV Tuner.

    I can pick up some sky channels off it, its kewl

What was the difference between Mk1 and Mk2? <!--QuoteEnd--> </td></tr></table><span class='postcolor'> <!--QuoteEEnd-->
    As I recall the first gamegears used a different display that basically amounted to a portable TV. Later gamegears (identifiable in some way unremembered by me) used a more standard LCD display, due to this, the TV adapter does not work (i think).

    Atari systems have not experienced Sonic. Neither, afaik, has the Neo Geo or Wonderswan.

    Skulkbait has it right on the Mk2, it was (apparently) purposefully redesigned so that the Tuner would not work.
