I want to print from within the network
My family is having problems printing from a computer within the network... We recently installed Zonealarm [not my personal choice, but hey we had the free PCWorld CD ] and we believe that this is blocking us from printing from within the network... We can't figure out how to allow it... Any help? Running ZoneAlarm on windows xp, the printer is on the network attached to a computer, it worked pre-installation.

[We had to install ZoneAlarm because we had a virus or whatever... Probably Blaster. I'll spare you the ramble and the whinge about ZoneAlarm, it's just I need help.]

In ZA, go to the Firewall button, and at the bottom click Add > IP Address or IP Range.

From here you can add all the computers on your LAN into ZA's "Trusted Zone," allowing you to share printers and files. Just make sure your setting for the Trusted Zone is on medium or low; high still won't allow access to resources.
