[almost-rel] Fade-nos

<div class="IPBDescription">quickie</div> I was bored, and I'd been thinking of doing this for a while as a placeholder for a biped onos I was working on a while back. It's just a fade, fatboy'd up and recoloured, and scaled up a little bit.

It's an almost-req becasue I can't spare the webspace for such a trivial model, and so if anyone wants to host it for me that'd be grand.

    I should say that it might look wrong when it's attacking, as it's still using all the fade's anims, and I just realised that the fatboy-ing will make its feet sink a tiny bit through the floor. But hey - it's a placeholder, what do you want? ^^

    then again, the tool is named "fatboy" for a reason lol

    I'm going to use this for one reason.

    I really would like to know where the bullets are meant to go. Rather than shoot an Onos with a full clip and miss.

    mabye its mouth doesnt look it but seriously the things the size of a elephant and since my marines are slightly smaller im sure they could fit in there think of it, its fat and huge the fade nos i guess isnt for gameplay and just for percision the fadenos is mabye 1/2 bigger or even smaller than that but if the marines 5"8 the fadenos is what 8 ft? a marine cant fit inside there, i go for gameplay and like to tend towards realism more than stats but i guess thats just me. sure id like to always be able to hit an onos but i dont really care if i miss a few shots becuase i do aim for its backer part areas and plus i only saw this in HLMV it looks pretty damn cool but remember the onos is longer and its attacks seem to be ahead of it so that means ur decision when to jump sideways to mabye dogdge gore or devour will be WAYYYYY off. im not dissing the model just letting you know what i meant in more depth

    I'm using this, but only so I have a solid hitbox to shoot at. Even though I know where the regular Onos' hitbox is I STILL miss with half the clip <!--emo&:p--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/tounge.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='tounge.gif'><!--endemo-->

    Love the concept....but are you planning to do the animations for devour or jumping?

    I would love to use it...sometimes an ono reminds me of a Betsy the cow on steroids, and this "fado" seems like one bloody marine asschomper X)))

    It *has* jumping anims, and considering that the default onos doesn't seem to have its attack anims working in-game I think you should be thankful this one has even just a basic slash anim <!--emo&;)--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/wink.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='wink.gif'><!--endemo-->

    P.S. Diablus, there's something called "punctuation" and "paragraphing". Nobody likes to plough through a chunk of text like that.

    $niper Chance, in my experiences, the Fade has been slightly taller than the Onos...is the Onos closer to your pov or something?
