<div class="IPBDescription">Cyber-punk mmorpg</div>hey guys, neocron reached public beta a few days ago, you can get it off e-donkey it's beta 4, and you also need a file name terrain.pak, it's 600 something megs if you install with less it's said you cause server crashes if you try and leave the city....so go get it cause it's fun, it's free, and it's fun...(except flayra don't want him turning into an MMORPG addict...least not before the first release)

    Will the final release be free to play?

    I don't mind paying for a good game but paying for continued online play is just not for me.

    um... provide link please... never heard of e-donkey...
    all i can find is their official homepage which has a link to another page where they claim that you can ORDER and download the game... (but all that page has is crappy neocron t-shirts n stuff... no download of the actual game...)
    whats this ORDER thing? thought you said it was free!
    i also find an offline demo download... IS the full version free, or is it this demo youre talking about?

    OMG! w00t! another MMORPG to get my hands on! ^_^ I love MMORPGs, can't get enough of 'em. Dark Ages Of Camelot, EverQuest (not so great anymore, but once you reach level 60, you tend to keep on playing for the heck of it), Shattered Galaxies, etc. And now another one! Yes, it does look quite good.     alright the beta isn't officially released in the US only germany (will be out here on 15th of september me thinks) but you can still DL it with the software from www.edonkey2000.com it's a p2p program

    and the official site is www.neocron.com and don't ask for support installing because they don't mind that the beta is in america ect. except for when they are stalled by people complaining about missing installer files (if installer complains about missing things you either A didn't DL it all or B got it in the wrong place)
