<div class="IPBDescription">Redemption for heavy-armored Marines</div> This plugin gives any marine in heavy armor a chance to redeem every time they get hurt and their health is below a certain level.
Redemption REQUIRES that there be at least 2 active phasegates in the level or the marine cannot redeem.

I assume this Mod was created to help balance the percentage of alien/marine wins we saw post-v2.0 and pre-v2.01d. This Mod is nothing more then a dangerous band-aid solution that takes emphasis away from marine teamplay.
The current welder speed is so insanely fast that there is just no excuse for excessive HA casualties if the marines are teamplaying properly. We have enough problems with rambos and the lack of marine teamplay on pubs. By allowing HAs to 'redeem' I feel you are only encourging more rambos.
From my experience Marines are beginning to win their share of v2.01d games. The tide is slowly turning on the aliens as the marines adopt a tighter sense of teamplay on pubs.
I feel this mod is unnecessary, detrimental to the basic idea of Marine gameplay in NS, and just a plain bad idea.

I've made a new plugin. It doesn't add any new features, so you won't have to worry about trying anything new and run the risk of enjoying it. It also does not impact the delicate gameplay balance.

Of course, if you don't like my lack of changes, you can always play on servers who don't have my plugin installed.

Cant you remember he was one of the guys who made mods that made 1.0 balanced?
All you who try to put him down, just how easy do you want alien domination to be?
As every update to 2.0, inculding the latest, it is extremely easy to win as alien.
Im not saying i agree with the marineredeem mod, but it makes alot of sense, story wise. Humans in the NS universe have a huge control over wormholes, tho two types require a source and destination (infantry portals and phase gates) the observatorys emergency beacon only needs a source and creates multiple destinations itself. Now a suit of armour like HA is bristing with communications arrays and could in theory be a source, where one of the phase gates are the destination, see makes sence story wise atleast <!--emo&:D--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/biggrin.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='biggrin.gif'><!--endemo-->
