Because obviously that was the coolest game ever and none of us have experienced anything cooler.

I just ignored any base defense and asked the marine to go out to grab RTs. Then we first secured Ventilation hive. Next we tried for Furnace but we got our butts kicked there, so I had them try for Biodome again. This time we sieged it. By now we had capped and electrified most of the RTs on the map, and I was going for the HA upgrade to get the Furnace hive.
Unfortunately, while the marine were capping the Control Room double node, I think 1 or 2 Onos and a fade plus some skulks trashed our main base, which had only 4 turrets, killing our Com chair first. I didn't have time to drop another CC. The only thing left was to rush furnace as LMG marines, and we did that twice, the second time taking down the hive. It was great going in as a train of eleven marines, killing the Onos and fades in the first rush and then killing the hive with our last 1 or 2 marines on the 2nd rush. Having 3/3 upgrades helped a lot, and we ended the game with over 500 resources in the bank.
Fun long game.

11 man marine rush sounds fun as hell.
My favorite are games where the marines are so confident they're going to win that no one is back at base. Then I just go onos outside their base and smash the CC and IPs. Then they go 'WTH we can't spawn!!?!' <!--emo&:D--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/biggrin.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='biggrin.gif'><!--endemo-->
It was a 3vs2 (3 was Marines) game...
I was playing Aliens on eclipse, and we had 2 hives, and the first and second chambers were sensory and defense. I stayed cloaked outside the base (the side with Station Access Alpha) and as slowly as I could, moved in... The Marines HA rushed, with one LA, so we knew the base was empty...
The other guy and I went in, spammed OCs <i>urvrywhere</i>, and ran out to stop the HA.
I don't know what happened to the base, but all I know was I saw a lot of offense chamber kills.
Then, as I killed the last HA, the Infantry Portal dies and we win <!--emo&:D--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/biggrin.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='biggrin.gif'><!--endemo-->
From beginning, the marines controlled the game. They cap a resource, move out as a group, cap another node, and so on. They were fast on electrifing everything so that made time window on taking out resources before getting zapped not quite favorable. Aliens didn't have more than 4 resource nodes all game. So anyway, marines manage to lock down Vent. Hive first. After some fighting at Furnace (I think they held it for awhile but lost it), Marines head over to Biodome to set up a siege. We tried to put pressure on them but they're too well defended above elevator at Bio so sieges end up taking out hive. At this point, the only thing the aliens have is a hive at Furnace with ZERO resource nodes against 7 marine nodes! (It was a slightly more lengthy game that I manage to make it sound)
But the thing that gave the aliens some hope.. we had 2 Onos, 1 fade, some skulks and gorges moving out of furnace all grouped up to rush the marine CC before he could drop a new one. I was surprised the team was really working together at this point since taking out CC was our last hope. I think the game was like 11 vs 11 so that should give a better idea of what rush looked like. Anyhow, we run into marine base, go straight for comp chair. There are about 3-4 marines already in base with a few turrets. Moment we charge, its slight chaos. Marines spawn in, marines phase in, whole time the prime target is the comm chair. But we did just manage to get the CC in fast enough time that another could not be dropped. Sadly, we weren't able to kill off the marine IP or else thats game over, aliens win a marine dominated game.
So at this point, the alien team has a clear chance to end this game after being completely decimated by marines for nearly an hour. All the team has to do, is finish off the marine IP and we win. Thats what made the game so great. Marines just totally control the game for almost an hour but on one bold, coordinated alien charge, the game does A COMPLETE TURN. All these marine turrets, TFs, resources, all the structures on the map mean nothing if aliens take out the only marine IP next before marines can take out our only hive.
But unforunately, this isn't a 'tarded marine team. In response to our attack, all the marines come rushing back, like whole marine team comes running to our hive at furnace and just swarming in. Hectic is an understatement. Marines are fully upgraded and aliens are jumping everywhere in the air, yet somehow, marines failed to take down our hive despite the fact that this rush killed our Onos and made a bloodbath of our skulks. So still, the alien team knows we only need to kill the marine IP but guess who comes back once they're all spawned in?
Marines rushed in again, I swear there wasn't more than one or two marines alive when hive went down this time. The game came down to that, after all the hope the aliens had for coming back in dramatic fashion, the marines pull the win with coordinated full rushes of their own.
I hope that better translates what nukeaqua is trying to say. <!--emo&:p--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/tounge.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='tounge.gif'><!--endemo-->
But yah, great freaking game, I can't believe alien win slipped through our grasp after all that.
