Freaking... I ... gee, it just boggles me. I'm usually very introverted at parties because they always play rap or pop music (which are the 2 styles of music I dislike most) and expect me to dance to it. I can't "get into it" when ... when I dont like the <span style='color:white'>music [I SAID MOVIES?!]</span>. its sad. And the concept of freaking I'm almost afraid of it. In social occasions I always have a HUGE fear of messing something up (practically every get-together I goto, I manage to get someone hurt or mess something up). So dancing is no different. For chrissakes I nearly broke the hip of this girl I like at a party because I didn't know what the hell I was doing D:

Well, I am not particular to R&B, Pop, nor Rap Music (in fact I really hate them), but now that I think about it, you can't really freak with rave or rock.

but I don't donce right now, namely because the only ones near where I live are the
Rap/Hiphop + beer + drugs dances
Why take ecstasy when you can 1) drink orange juice and 2) rave with sparklers?!

Its nice now that I'm at college that I can find parties playing a variety of music (at least during rush. At other times the pickings are slim, but I'm too busy then anyways) For anyone who might still be saved from the dark side, dancing is WORLDS more fun than beer bowling.

Yeah it is sweet. I like to watch people dance (break dance). But someone in a wheelchair could dance better than me. Now that I think of it, I know someone who can sort of break dance. He can do some of the things they do. Now he just plays music tho.
Although I actually have rythm and can dance to most things, I don't really like most dance music or the concept of dancing at a party, so I just turn it into a joke. Watching me breakdance puts people on the floor laughing, it's so fun to just dance to make people laugh. Because you just make a complete foll of yourself to the beat and all the people taking it seriously just get pwned. Fun as all hell, and people are starting to expect it from me.
The only time I dance seriously is at a show, going and moshing it up and stuff. Also very fun. A good way to get your access energy and anger out by thrashing around or kicking randomly in a big group of peopl all doing the same. Plus it really doesn't take that much effort, justa lot of energy. So fun, but you can get yourself hurt if you don't watch out.
it really depends on my state of mind *ahem*...
few years back i met this way too cool guy (hes got the dreds, the women, the DJing skills etc..) he showed me liquid dancing, the first time you see it, it really blows you away, if you dont know what imn talking about, its mostly about the hands (which suits me just fine) you gotta try to 'create shapes', lines and waves with your hands and fingers, typically one hand leads and one follows, its also known as digitz in the US (liquid is like the whole body equivalent of digitz).
so anyways after a good 2 years practise im getting quite good, i could probably hold the interest of the casual passer by, and mesmerise the average raver, it got me into poi and staff aswell...
anyway, liquid is the shiznits, look it up ;D

oh yeah... heh, the next dance is in like two weeks, at another school, and i'm gonna learn MC hammer's steps as my secret weapon~
