    Let me tell you all something:

    Simpsons is funny, granted. Yeah, there are all those great episodes--but what about the other five million? All wastes, hardly funny. Family Guy's episodes are packed full of funny. Pick any, and I guarantee you it will have you laughing so hard, you will be bashing a fellow friend with a baseball bat just for me to--, er, you to get some more.

    Family Guy's jokes are a little mature-based, though. I suppose that's why it doesn't have that many viewers--kids don't like it. "Daddy, this is a stupid show, I don't get it, let's watch Simpsons, that's easy to understand!" I suspect that's the real reason why it doesn't have many viewers.

    I think the funniest aspect of Family Guy is those 'memories'. "Lois, at least it's not as bad as ____" and then the scene changes to WaterWorld or something and him punching the crap out of an Orca (or whatever that episode was). There's at least like 5 in every episode.

    Actually Family is easier to understand than The Simpsons, it builds up to the humor, and is filled of funny witty jokes that people above the age of 14 will get. You really need to be 18 or older to get the Simpson's humor. Family Guy is just filled with outrageous crap that just never gets old.

    the best thing about family guy also is the random things that happen, like the koolaid man in the court room, the skeleton that they dig up and it randomly runs arouns scaring people for that 2 1/2 sec scene, the bin ladin going after stwey for that 2 sec clip, the roadrunner randomly somehow getting ran over by peter, and the list goes on ROFL

    Good timing on this. Show's been canceled, the DVD's are selling like crazy, and the channels with Family Guy airing ( TBS, Cartoon network) thrived. To me this just looks like another quick way to cash in on Family Guy, to make a "movie" which will basically be like 5 full episodes.
