<div class="IPBDescription">help</div> First I need to let you guys know about me (yes wrong place but you need to know). Im 17 and a senior in high school and live in the great state of kansas. I love 3d modeling but dont know what college to go to. I dont think there are any in state schools and we all know out of state costs a lot. Since a lot of you guys are very talent and might have a career in these fields I was just wandering how you got to where you are. What the job is like and pay you get. And forum admin I know you would like this in the off topic or something but these seems like the right spot for it. So any suggestion or anything would be helpful. Peace.

    I would actually wager that most of the modelers on this forum *aren't* professionals in the industry. I'm not. Most of us learned the same way, though -- tutorials on the web, trial and error. And lots of patience.

    Failing that, try places like 3DCafe, 3d Buzz etc.
