How Do I Install 2.01d?

<div class="IPBDescription">Where do I put ns_i386.so?</div> The 2.01 beta patch doesn't really come with instructions, not that I expected it to.
The zip has 2 files:
ns.dll
ns_i386.so
I could find a previously existing ns.dll, so I just replaced it, but I have no idea what to do with ns_i386.so. Do I just put it in the base NS directory?

It's a server side only patch. You dont need it unless you're running a server. If you are, just extract it to your ns directory. It won't hurt you if you do it on a client, either, but it's also unnecessary.

Please post this in the correct forum next time. Will make people more "relevant" see your problem and probably answer you better. Thank you for your time.

All you really need is 2.0

The .so file is, I believe, the Linux HLDS patch. Shouldn't even be required by Windoze servers.

But you can drop the .dll file in the "dll" folder in your NS directory. =P
