    I've only ever gotten a few knife kills on anything as a marine because I play aliens much more often. Now, if we were to base this on heal spray kills as SillyGoose said, or even parasite kills, I'd be much better off.

    one time on eclipse i was com and we were losing and the onos was killing my chair and i got out and i was stuck inside of him and i knifed him and he couldn't move and he died.

    Knife kills aren't very impressive... 4 to kill a skulk, only 12 to kill a fade... that thing has a high RoF so it's fairly easy to get knife kills.

    in 2.0 its alot harder because it knocks them back giving the alien a chance to time its attack and tear you up. 1.04 knife kills where MUCH easier to acheive.

    I usually don't fancy knifing because I don't often get in bad positions requiring me to empty both my primary and secondary weapon. But I suppose I sometimes get a few kills, though I don't count them. Like Grimm said, para or heal is much more common for me because I love parasiting and I heal a lot (though I havent tried gorge for attacking in 2.0 yet)

    i've gotten an insane number of knife kills in 1.04 when the vent bug was there and these stupid skulks keep charging me in vents. i've gotten 20+ knife kills in 1 game before on hera when we were going to holoroom via the vent in marine start (old 1.04 hera)

    Hehe, I remember knifing one guy 3 times in one round, each time he was a skulk. My team was losing so I just went around knifing anything I could find (including onos) and he just happened to be there 3 times with low health, I'm so lucky. <!--emo&:D--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/biggrin.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='biggrin.gif'><!--endemo--> I also remember welding an onos to death, dunno if that counts.

    I was waiting for the MRD post.

    Knowing MRD a bit and playing against him I can tell you that virtually none of those would have been what I think are true knife kills (i.e. killing with only the knife). He shoots skulks until they have next to no health and then switches to knife as they close in, and kills them in a single swipe. BUT OMG ISN'T HE "elite"!!11ONEONEELEVEN

    4 knife kills as la. knifed 2 skulks when i was knifing a rt and knifed 1 onos as jp when he tried to espace and the last knife kill was ona poor lerk that thought umbra would help him

    I remember when playing in the PT's one of the testers got like 20+ kills with the knife.


    At the end, he said "please dont nerf the knife".
