Pyschostats owns imo and with version 2 coming out so very soon now with its mysql it will be the best stats program available. Especially since the core program is able to support virtually any game although a new scanner will be needed for each game which will be quite easy to do <!--emo&:)--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/smile.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='smile.gif'><!--endemo-->
For those of you who have been waiting, a new version of HLstats is comming out this week. It will include a bunch of features that have been missing from HLstats. For staters Commanders are players too and they diserve points for commanding. And now thats gonna happen. HLstats will report COMM related activities. It will filter out the Gestate role considering thats not really a role. And has a brand new set of images for NS. The delay to so long because 2 parts of HLstats had to be completely reworked for NS and now allow for better mod support.

I kinda like the way I've got my Psychostats sexed up. It's basically a mod of Ja Roolz Spanish TFC theme. I put my own weights on weapons as well. I don't mind having turret and o tower weights be close to other weapon weights because it is alot easier to avoid getting killed by an o tower or a turret, imho...
edit: I couldn't use HLStats because I run my small server on a home cable connection and my bandwidth couldn't handle it. I run a bunch of different servers only on Friday and Saturday nights, so Psychostats is perfect for me.

1. Being a gorge is the most demanding job on the alien team. I run a small server (10) and I use the Max Class plugin to limit the aliens to one gorge. This means that being the gorge is something special. While gorges are more fiesty than they used to be, gorges still aren't going to rack up loads of kills, so getting credit for "o" tower kills is a good thing, imho. The same logic also applies to the marine comm.
2. I happen to think that placing your turrets and "o" towers strategically, and even getting them built in the first place, takes a certain amount of planning. The commander is incharge of tactical placement (as is the gorge). I think it is only fair that some skill be awarded for each kill. If you never get out of the comm chair you have nothing to show for all your hard work. This is a fair representation of skill IMO.
