I have only been playing NS for about 2 weeks now, I enjoy it a fair bit.
I was wondering if here are any smaller maps for NS or anything for smaller amounts of peeps as our LAN's are not the biggest from where I am.
Any suggestions or websites would be great!!! <!--emo&:D--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/biggrin.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='biggrin.gif'><!--endemo--> <!--emo&::asrifle::--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/asrifle.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='asrifle.gif'><!--endemo--> <!--emo&:D--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/biggrin.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='biggrin.gif'><!--endemo--> <!--emo&:D--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/biggrin.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='biggrin.gif'><!--endemo-->

It isn't really a good game for small amounts of people, even with small maps.
LOL! Yes, it's such a wonderful sight when you see 3 onos in your base killing everyone that spawns in a fraction of a second.
I'd suggest playing ns_eclipse (standard map)
or ns_mystic (custom map)
In any case... stay away from maps like ns_fenris in your case, such maps can be great maps, but not if you're just with a couple of people (fenris is a huuuuuge map <!--emo&:)--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/smile.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='smile.gif'><!--endemo--> )
Imo you can play NS with 8 people, 6 if you have to.
on that site is a list of all downloadable ns maps (that they know of)
should keep u busy for a while..
ps: I recomend ns_cydonia .. atmosphere ! <!--emo&:D--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/biggrin.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='biggrin.gif'><!--endemo-->
You'll need to dload the RCBot or that other one. RCBot is no good on 2, (or for much on 1) but it does the job. Think of it as a highy accurate noob or a grunt. The terms are interchangeable.
Links for the bots are available elsewhere. I've lost mine. Try google if you can't find them on the forums.
FYI: I think ns with 6 people is more fun than with 20. One comm having to get out and build the buildings adds to the supsense:
Player: Hey comm, I think I hear a lerk... COMM? HEALTH!! ARGG!!
One on one ns_missile_command_final3 is also hilarious.
Besides, no home LAN has 6 computers. If it does, it shouldn't. It's just not fair.
