any one know about it?
Ok, I am about to move back to college were I will be sharing an apartment with a good friend who is also a Mac user. Obvious problem here is that we will have a cabel modem and I have NO IDEA about Mac networking.
I have my good 'ol LynkSys Route, will I be able to simply connect em? what type of networking do macs use??

do macs use some sorta diff protocol?
and if so is there a router that can talk to both of em?
As I said, if the mac doesn't work with the router, it's the mac that is screwed and not the router
