Medal of honor allied assault?
I just got it and my sister has been playing it and im gonna play it soon, is it any good?
You people really don't have to say 'it'll be moved to x forum soon blah blah' with every post you make, you know.
Played it. Liked it. Especially the... erm... mission 2 i believe it is... (Don't want me to spoil anything for you now? )
I prefered RTCW to MOA:AA, you can die in 4-5 hits and each enemy takes 1-2, wow, the fun, I really love running around a game with 35 health knowing if anyone shoots at me he'll instantly kill me from over 5 miles away with a pistol, I swear I used the quicksave key more than the forward key. You see a T-junction, jump out to your left, and strafe back, dead, he was on the right, reload save game, jump out to the right, shoot, quicksave, proceed to next junction. And I hate that guy who "helps" you, on the light house map "I'm coming now, head for the gate!", So, after killing a truck full of your normal enemies (which can instantly kill you, of course, did I mention that already?) I went out and waited by the gate... AND HE RAN THE GATE DOWN AND BLOODY KILLED ME, THANKS A LOT, MATE!
And that house level where after killing the entire Nazi army who are coming in through the back windows -while all the British soldiers sit upstairs and cry like babies about snipers while standing by the windows (getting shot by snipers)- you walk along the road, if you don't turn with your team you come across an EVIL BUSH. I was misfortunate to save as I can into contact with this EVIL BUSH's trigger area, and I instantly died from some gun fire sound effect and reloading it put me in the same place, so I died again, and again, and again. So I removed the CD, put it in its case and swore never to touch it again... after savagely attacking it with a knife.
I hate this realism crap, there is no skill in using weapons that instantly hit, anyone can line up a crosshair in minimal time, and there is no skill in dodging weapons which instantly hit, a random number generator in the code which calculates the accuracy determines wether you'll die or not, so you spend most of your time waiting around corners for the enemy to follow you around, quickloading, quicksaving or dying randomly, wow, action packed or what!?
If you didn't want to read all that, I shall sum up: I played it, I wish I had not.
I dont remember dying that fast... Are you sure you werent playing ghost recon and looking at videos of MoHaa at the same time...?

Yeah, the online part was really feckin cool. And if dieing is the same (not killing) in SP and MP, then it's harder to die then Taylor seems to think.I'magreeing with Umbrella on this one
God I hated Ghost Recon, I want the hour or so I wasted on it back.
Well, ok. Maybe not instant death, but the damage is severe and it seems luck determines the outcome of most battles. Maybe I just suck, eitherway, I didn't like it.
