Get the following error message when trying to start game:
The selected OpenGL mode is not supported by your video card.
I tried all modes, non of them works <img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/confused.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='confused.gif'>

Have you tried updating your video card drivers?

There are some video cards that need to have new drivers to function in OpenGL
(GeForce comes into mind)

Be sure to remove the old drivers if you get new ones.(by remove program should be enough)

What kind of card do you have? If it's old you will probably have to bite the bullet and buy a new card or use Direct 3D.

I changed OpenGL to Direct3D in my video modes and now it works <img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/biggrin.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='biggrin.gif'>

I was having Open GL problems with the game. it sucked but that's also because my videocard also SUCKS Voodoo4 AGP...it blow's, I cant run the game in any other mode, well I can in software but it's ugly, and I can in Direct 3D...but its ugly and choppy <img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/sad.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='sad.gif'> so I just stick to 1024X768 OpenGl

delete your opengl hack and it will work.

i had the same problem, in software the crosshairs were black squares nad t hen changed to opengl and got the same msg u got, then i changed to default and.........IT WORKED!!.
