Anyone else dislike having to reload for 4 grenades when you only have 2 left? I mean what kind of n00bush guns of the future allow this <!--emo&:(--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/sad.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='sad.gif'><!--endemo--> Its not a bug its a feature too :/

What's your scenario? Have 0 grenades in the gun and only 2 in your inventory, and then you reload? I thought the guy only reloads the 2 he has then closes the magazine...
I know it's that way when you have 2 grenades in the gun and do a reload. He puts 2 more in to fill it, then closes it up.
he's saying on the off chance you're using your gl as intended, and moving across the map, and you have 4 in the chamber and 2 in the inventory, you fire all four. when you go to reload, it shows you reload all 4 (when you only have 2)
What I mean is that even if the animation of your marine packing a nade into the barrel goes twice (ie. your gun should now have two live grenades ready to go), switching negated those two rounds putting you back at 0 and having to wait out the painfully long reloading time. Not cool.
No one really thought it would be much of a problem, apparently.
There's no code that says "If ($inventory < 4) { don't run the damned animation of four grenades reloading!! } "
It's kind of a bug, and it should be fixed because grenade launcher takes too long to reload as it is.
I like the sound it makes when the marine closes the mag back up.
no, because replacing the model with not replace the coded-in reload time. They tweaked the reload animation and the game's reload time to match up.
The solution: "Need ammo!" <!--emo&:p--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/tounge.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='tounge.gif'><!--endemo-->
But, yeah, it's annoying. Of course, if you have that little ammo left, it's probably time to pull out the secondary. <!--emo&:D--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/biggrin.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='biggrin.gif'><!--endemo-->
