New Blood Sprites..

I searched and found NOTHING!
Personally, I hate the blood sprites (no offense to the creator.) I was wondering if someone could make kind of softer blood sprite...kinda like something from the Specialists, but make it fit a bite or slash more. I'm sure someone other than me would appreciate this.

TS used a particle system, one of the more better blood splat systems, imo.

It's quite hard to edit blood sprites as well, each frame is only a couple of pixels, less than this icon

    Agreed on the TS system.

Maybe it's different for NS, but people in the Firearms sprite stuff made a new blood sprite quite quickly.

Shame we can't get nice blood like in TS...I was drooling when I put six rounds into an enemy.

I don't mean softer for gore factor, I mean like not an ugly jagged blood that looks like red lego or something, heh.

Blood sprite is in the pakfile in your valve directory

You might want to extract that, edit and place it in you NS sprite directory

It's jagged because the size of the sprite is only 16 x 16 pixels, which is stretched out to fit something like 100 pixels when you are next to the blood in game. There's nothing you can do about the jaggedness other than a better video card. However, if you want shitloads of blood per hit, check out the blood sprites I made for Firearms

They work for NS just the same, and you can get them at my website (Click link in signature)
