My Guns Don't Cooperate

When I drop a weapon it goes in a random direction instead of forward. It never goes forward. Whenever anyone throws their gun it goes forward. What gives?

When I drop a gun it picks it up again.

This is very annoying, I tried to get rid of my HMG to rid myself of weight, and I couldn't throw it on the ground, even while jumping and backpedaling.

A sure way to drop your weapon is "kill" in console.

So you dont pick it up again?

It really is annoying to drop a gun ( you have like no life left, an HA needs it..) and have it auto pick up because it just drops it like a millimeter in front of you.

Actually, I do believe you drop it behind you, which seems to actually be very useful since you can be running forward, drop, and pickup the hmg on the ground, thus continuing your rampage against the fleeing onos.

However, it does result in difficult cycling... Backpedalling and cycling tends to get weapons stuck in walls.
