How about the New Readyroom.org server, "The Lunixmonster 2.0 - Readyroom.org #1" (the ip is 64.237.35.206:27015)

It's where all the celeberties play

Zen server ( based in UK, but very nice) : 212.23.5.49:27025

It's sort of like half-Nano.

There is a server I like alot, Edmonton In-Tech. Of course the key is that you go to the ~100 ping servers, you should be able to find a decent one.

CoFR is probably one of the top 5 servers in the community. If you can get on, its more than worth the wait. I'm a non-reserve regular there and its a blast.

EDIT
I don't know the IP but the name is [CoFR] Alien Infest CD REQ. just use the server browser.

Spend 10 minutes trying to connect to CoFR to be booted by the reserve slot in 5 minutes. Hardly "worth the wait" really.

It's a good server, but hard to become a regular there when you're being booted constantly.

Also try and tell us where you're located. There are some good European servers, but they will give you bad ping if you're in North America

Im from the US, so playing on UK servers isnt really a problem since I get about ~100 ping to roobs. I dont play reg at UK servers just because Id rather be "closer to home" Thanks for the imput so far

A good server to play on is the Sleepless server, granted if you can ever get on IP: 129.21.145.156.27015

The .cfg people hang around it a good amount (I think it's they're server, but I'm not 100% postive)

Except it's a really popular server. It's odd when you filter servers with not full, and it shows up 22/20 people on line. But when you get on, it's a blast, espcially if you got .cfg people playing too, they're good.

Edit; (I'm from USA, not sure where server is at though)

Roobs is awefull, it has like 10 reserved slots, the skill of the players on there is dismal and you get kicked for doing anything the admins dont like in the slightest.
• StoneburgStoneburg Join Date: 2002-11-11 Member: 8174Members
I wouldn't recommend CoFR because, as mentioned, the risks of getting booted for a reserve slot after waiting a long time to get in is very high. It is a shame because, as stated earlier as well, it makes it hard for people to become "regulars", kind of a catch 22. On the other hand, the reson the server is *good* is because of the reserve slots.

It has ten reserved slots out of 26, the skill of the regs is pretty good (though admittedly there's been a bit of a nub invasion since it got a lot of publicity), and the only thing you'll get kicked for is being a muppet and breaking the rules. So I suppose that last bit is accurate, since "anything the admins don't like" == breaking the rules.

It's one of the few UK servers worth playing on.

^Amen to that^

CoFR is great, maybe if they/we created a second CoFR are problems would be solved........

Anyway if you want to join CoFR hit the join button then go watch TV, maybe after your show is over you might be in/kicked/still waiting.

Well, we just opened a new server up that's pretty happy. Eventually everything that an admin can do will be available for players to vote on. We just got it up and running a week or so ago. Stop and check it out. We're still trying to get everything up and running, but seeing a few players there will probably get us moving faster. =)

yeah untill you build a sensory chamber first, then youll get kicked.

**** me off and i got back to do it again.

Some might say i asked for it, but in my book kicking people beacuse they dont do exactly what you want them to do isnt the way to run a PUBLIC server.

Anyways i got banned and to be honest: could care less.

but mature is something really different the last time i checked.

Had a blast on their server with 1.04 but i guess that aint going to work in 2.0.
• StoneburgStoneburg Join Date: 2002-11-11 Member: 8174Members
Err... if you built a chamber your team didn't want you to build, intentionally, I think it's right to have you kicked, and banned, if you came back and did it again. Just because it's a public server doesn't mean you don't have to respect other people.

Actually, it's CiS's server (Corona's in Space). The CiS guys are a lot of fun to play with, but ever since .cfg started playing there all the time it seems hardly anyone bothers to play there anymore due to all the egos.
• RR_Co-NRR_Co-N Join Date: 2002-12-11 Member: 10524Members
I like sensory, thats why i build it.

If someone else wanted to get something else: go gorge and build.

otherwise play with the cards you got.

Its kinda strange for skulks to tell the gorge what to do and what not, while they keep their res for themselves and going for onos. Im gorge and its my res. Ill decide what i think is best. It aint as if sensory is an absolute loss for your team...(we won that game after i got back after my 5 minute kick).

Yeah and as i said: some might say i asked for it the 2nd time. Depends on how you look at it though. but i dont think alot of online gamers will agree with me on that.

Sure you can run your server like this and i dont have alot of trouble with it, but it aint mature, thats all i wanted to say.

I've played there before. I LOVE the team selection thingy you have there, and I've tried to get it to work on other servers, to no avail.

Actually I was thinking that it seemed immature to go against your teams wishes in the first place, and extremely immature to come back and do it again after being kicked, so I am surprised that you decided to use the word "mature" in your context.

Hullo,

I felt like I must set something straight with the post by Waremonger.

Sleepless NS is owned, ran, and maintained by the Sleepless clan with which our Cal NS tag is .cfg. I'm totally unclear as in why he had to bash our server in this post but I would like to extend an invitation for anyone to come join us on our server.

Hope to see some of you guys in our server
