Simple Suggestion To Balance The Game

I think the Main Problem is that the Aliens expand to fast early in the Game and leave the Marines behind. So what could we do to prevent this without nerfing the Aliens to much <!--emo&???--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/confused.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='confused.gif'><!--endemo-->
Heh Guys i think the easiest solution is to decrease the Alien start Res from 25 to 20 (or 15 it only must be tested). So the Aliens have to wait or Kill some Marines to build the first RT?s wich delays the expansion of the Aliens massivly and give the rines some Time.
Also i would like it if the Alien Rfk go to the Hole Team and not to the original Killer. I think that it is very unfair for the marines if a skilled player get Res from RFK for his own use and have so the Chance to evolve early into a higher Lifeform wich means more Kills for the skilled player. The gorges would also benefit from RFK for Team because gorges usually dont kill Marines but so they have a Chance to get some more Res and the RFK for Team would also balance the lower Startres for the Aliens. But the RFK is only another Idea. I think only lowering the Start res would help the Marines much.
The Only Problem is that if the Alien get 20 Startres it could be more worse to convince other players to invest there Res in an RT if they got engough. <!--emo&???--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/confused.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='confused.gif'><!--endemo-->

Does NOT work. In a 12v12 game, alien income from one RT is 1 res/minute. Cut the aliens starting res to 20 just means that the marines are GUARANTEED five minutes worth of time without any alien RT building, if they can avoid getting killed.
The incredibly boring and lame start game can easily be imagined, as the marines just sit in base waiting for the skulks until five minutes has passed.
You might as well give the marines 60 res (5x12) instead and get rid of the boredom.
Eventually the Startres could be scaled for bigger teams (23 for Alienteams bigger then 10).

So there must something be done to prevent the Aliens from early expansion and the easiest solution might be to lower the Startres.
Get a good comm and get him to order you guys out to STOP the expansion

If you say this Idea is old or its not good because of ... then i accept it and i talk about it with you but what you Posted is not very helpful.
@ SinSpawn: Yes i play on a Server where we have good Marines but the lack of res in the beginng for the Rines is very hard to compensate.
Why dont your group of marines go hunt a few gorges?
Also I saw another thread like this a while ago, so a search might of helped?
