<div class="IPBDescription">A kind of objective based map</div>I we were to create a map where the marines had to access a certain area in the map to win or to make they're life easier that would be interesting. Such as: a computer on the bridge of a ship but there is a hive there, a engine that must be kept intact till taken over by the marines
finally the marines have to reach a panel wich would open a path to the main hive of the aliens?

tell me what you think!!!

unbalanced....... but if somebody manages to balance it somehow...... its gonna be cool......

well it would be balanced cause the aliens have a secondary base there next to the objetive(s).

Honestly, I don't understand what you're trying to say here.  I couldn't decipher the possible gametype that you are proposing from the jumble of words in your post.  Perhaps if you explained more clearly and succinctly, with more detail, more people would be able to comment on your idea.

The marines would have to reach a certain point of the map and gain control over it. While the Aliens would defend it.
because they would start in the same room as such an objective. An objective would be a engine that must remain intact or a computer that needs acessing.....

is this clear enough or do you want further elaboration?

Wow, it sure didn't take long for this topic to degenerate from a semi-good idea to a complete mess of gibberish and nonsense.

yeah marines should defend like the computers and the aliens have 2 destroy them? then the aliens win!

i think he means in general that it makes more sense that the marines would be defending a space installation then aliens, not your specfic example and/or idea

im sure the dev team have thought of diffrent game objectives or types and if anything will implement them in the second version

(disclamer: i have no clue what the dev team has or has not done)

well thats not at all what i meant i meabt that the maines had to access a certain part of the ship before the time limit runs out then once they do this the timer stop sand they are free to engage the aliens.....
