What are you best in.
1. lerk (I go lerk and kill rines till 100 res, or cover 3 aliens that kill everything)
2. gorge (im a gorge with a brain, supporting and bilebombing, im the most anoying gorge you can have in a vent or around the corner)
3. defensive marine (always a look on the minimap, telling the comm whats weak, what might be a trap, what needs a scan and what weapon or structure might be best)
4. shootgun (i cant really aim with it but shootgun in most games is just the best offensive weapon, most comms just dont pay attention to it.)
5. Comm (i know how to comm, how to scann, how to group, what to upgrade, but if my team does not stop ramboing/humping and does not follow me im the most anoying comm for my own team. Most times i get ejected for moaning and not dropping AWPs, the comm after me just makes it worse.)
6. fade (im only good between 3 other players, then i slay 4 rines in a row, otherwise im dead in one second)
7. onos (i dont choose redemption, but i suck as onos more than other ppl)
8. sieges. (they are cheaper and more flexible now. they are much more fun for the comm. sadly scanner sweep handling sucks and your team rarely stands still till you drop a siege. Maps were re-designed so most siege spots dont work anymore.)
9. Heavy armour. (its slow and its onos food. you cant kill oni in this armour because it just runs away from you. Its also dumb that a comm thingks a group of 5 ha can take out everything beeing bored of thew 3rtd ha rush that fails in a SC trap because the comm did not scan.
10. Turret factories. (The comm most times places too many of them. one in marine spawn at start and almost one at each build RT, a waste of res and too unflexible, I say. You need to know basics about good TF placements.)

Pwn: Rambo LMG marine with motion detector. I pwn at picking off skulks for res.

Pwn: I pretty much have fades mastered. My fav class before going onos.
suk: I'm better at killing skulks than killing marines with one. I always go gorge =)

2. Lerk (I hated the lerk. Bite used to be so cool, but now I gotta run away everytime the marines come <!--emo&:(--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/sad.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='sad.gif'><!--endemo-->. However, now I know how to play them! I wish spike didn't take so much energy though. I never take adren.)
3. Onos (Forget them worthless redempt onos. Regen and celerity for me! Run in, eat a marine, gore some turrets, run out, and heal. Takes much less time then redeeming back to hive. Gotta be careful not to underestimate your enemies though. 5 lmg are quite a threat.)
4. Gorge (I always gorge to plant a new hive when I've saved up, off towers first thing in double res node, etc. However, I prefer to stay out of gorge if I don't have any more res. I can do more as a skulk, then gorge again later.)
5. Comm (Fun fun when you have good marines. One of the most critical strategies for me is an early gorge hunt, where I get a group to hunt probable alien res nodes right at the beginning. Totally cripples the aliens. However, with a lot of humpers, I can't even get them away from base. Then we lose)

One time I killed a Skulk though. My teammate said it was him because in the top right it said

I explain to him it was probably a bug that I should report, because clearly it was me.

2. Skulk - I am extremely good at the aspect of hit and run. Take out a marine at a time and u can get a whole group in some minutes, ofcourse using parasite to keep track of where the group is. Pretty useless against shot guns so i got em at number two, also dont like it when the grenade will explode as soon as it touches u when the marine is firing.
3. Marine (hmg - pistol - light armour at high techs) - Pistols are cool, atleast the sounds are...Hmg's firing rate and damage are just immense and u can run from an onos and actually make it redempt before it devours u.
4. Onos - Well redemption and devouring are just way too cool. I dont like it tho cause u need some lerking protection to take out turret farms and that redemption doesnt always kick in.
5. Gorge - I dont mind gorging early on and giving the team a head start, sometimes i end up gorging the whole round, pretty boring but still fun with the bilebomb and seeing that u are helping ur team quite a bit.
6. Marine (hmg - pistol - jp with all armour techs) - They still work and are quite a huge problem for a mostly onos alien team taking out a lot of buildings or people before getting spiked out.
7. Fade - Fades used to be cool when u got em with the 2nd hive, but now their acid rockets kick in way too late and are pretty useless that late, better off with lerk/onos.
8. Marine (hmg - welder - ha) - yea a waste against onos but as a group they are extremely usefull and can take out hives one by one, ofcourse u need a good group and nice aiming.
9. Marine (shotty - any armour) - ok i really dont know how to aim with shotguns i suck... its impossible for me to even get a skulk at time but thats just me i suck at aiming with them, end up aiming too late.
10. Marine (gl - any armour) - They are good with someone who actually know how to use a gl, i always kill myself and just stay away from gls.

PWN: Working as a team, getting lucky shots, finding aliens hiding in every nook and cranny (and not using the minimap to help)
Suck: Never uses the minimap, dies too quick

Skulk, Lerk, Gorge, Fade (Gorge: I can build one hell of a defense, I have yet to see people take out my defenses at tram tunnel hive in ns_mineshaft) (Lerk + SoF + Andren + Redempt/Regen = "elite") (Don't **** me off when I'm a skulk, last time that happened, it wasn't pretty) (slash 'em to death, 'nuff said)

Digesting (how the hell do you aim with that thing?)
A group of 5 heavies with the range of weapons is scary, especially when they know how to weld.
althought my top 5 would be:
1. Shotgun
2. Commander
3. Gorge
4. Heavies
5. Grenade Launcher
Skulk + Silence + Carspace = pwn.
2. OC spamming Gorge
3. Stomp - Devour Onos
4. Blinking Fade
5. Sporing Lerk
but in reality, I usually gorge til I build about 5 RTs by MYSELF (awfully big of me to take the boring job isn't it?), then I go fade + carapace + adrenaline + scent-o-phear = lox. onos can be fun but either I'm unskilled or unlucky with em because I always wind up getting schooled rq <!--emo&:(--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/sad.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='sad.gif'><!--endemo--> and lerk... well, I never came close to being good with lerk <!--emo&:(--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/sad.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='sad.gif'><!--endemo-->
as for marines, there's no better feeling in NS than when you actually get a team that follows your com orders and you lead them to victory... it's easy to dis overuse of TFs, and it's expensive to put em at every RT, but it tends to pay off... and sieging hives and other such encampments pwnz all.
