V_ Model Origins

<div class="IPBDescription">well....</div> Any one know how to change the v_ model origins? When i made a model and just deleted the old gun and put my gun there, for some reason teh origins moved back. How do i change the origins? I also want to make my origins more centered....

    If you'd taken the time to read <a href='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/index.php?act=ST&f=19&t=20223' target='_blank'>Modelling 101</a> you'd have read this bit:

    <b>Q: How do I create ironsights, shoulder views, or other-wise reposition a v_model?</b>
    A: This is done by using $origin in your QC file at compile time. Place it near the top of your QC file, before the $sequences.
    FORMAT: <b>$origin X Y Z</b>
    X is left/right. Positive values move to the right.
    Y is in/out. Positive values move out, away from you.
    Z is up/down. Positive values move down.

    Alas, it's a matter of trial and error to get in in the right place, but you can save some time by comparing your model's position with another model's in HLMV.

    Oh ya, sorry, i modeled a imi galil. Its my first gun model. Not skined. Its kinda low poly, not much modeled in for details mostly savign that for skin.
