Some people refuse to build anything on Kharaan in the beginning of the game. Why? They want the onos the first possible second to start fragging. Bad? I don't usually care. If someone wants to leave the rest of the team to play the game and just jerk off in the corner, fine. It's just that sometimes...
I have been on 32 player server couple times when from 16 player bug[tm] team over 10 (12?) has been these people. What happens for a bug team that does not get resource nodes? Then starts the whining, blaming and lurking in the vents with skulks only when ha-hmg marines stomp all around the map taking care of the 4-6 players who are actually trying to even play the game.
I am not saying that a team should be forced to play well or cooperate. That's what makes a good team and victory and is what the game is mostly all about. Although the bugs can do a lot things solo, they also need usually teamplay. It is just that there are some evenings way too many of those frag hungry kids that ruin the game for the rest of the players. <!--emo&::marine::--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/marine.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='marine.gif'><!--endemo--> There are not many low ping big player amount servers around to choose from <!--emo&???--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/confused.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='confused.gif'><!--endemo-->
How about a small tweak? Nothing big, just a tiny tiny thing aimed at laming?
(Btw, I just love the new gl. It absolutely rips away the whole bug team if you can handle it. )

Oh, and no one can really balance the game if such a big part of the team isnt working as one.
I could live quite happily without ever having to see "OMG I'm cool because I'm making fun of silly CSers!11one! lolol". Its an overdone joke, and kind of silly when you look at the overall community has a whole. It is rare to see people who even post with atrocious English, much less some strange variant of "elite".

two quick replies (being the threadjacker that I am).
1) The art of making fun of the ""elite"" speak is funny in and of itself. It wouldn't be funny if some people weren't actually doing it. This brings me to:
2) I've met a ton of people who post "YA I NO RITE OMG 4 REEL DUD!!1!!1!!11!!" on a regular basis, so don't think that it doesn't exist.
IMHO you need one or two nutbusters to keep the pressure on. If he can get those points so fast and use them well, then all power to him.
In a small server though its totally unforgivable.
